Hello Kitty is omnipresent. You can find products sold almost everywhere, and almost every product has a Hello Kitty version. I'm sure you've seen the crystal or diamond embellished jewelry ridiculously priced from places like Neiman Marcus. It turns out Sanrio has an exclusive brand called Momoberry that targets a more well-off Hello Kitty fan.Here's the description from the Sanrio site:
Momoberry is Sanrio’s boutique brand - featuring upscale lifestyle products for the adult female consumer, bringing her sophisticated fun and fashion. Momoberry originated in 2006 based on the idea that grown-up Sanrio fans wanted a unique range of premiere products. Currently you can find Momoberry at the Beverly Center Mall in Los Angeles, CA or in Tokyo, Japan at two Sanrio flagship locations.
To be honest, I'm not sure I'd want to spend an large amount of money on a Sanrio-branded item. I just don't have that kind of dispensable cash lying around. But it's not going to stop me from stopping by the Beverly Center to check it out one of these days.
